My fitness journey was interrupted with a shoulder injury.  I spent time with a physical therapist that recommended that I forgo group exercise and work with a personal trainer.  She personally recommended Joe. I have been training with Joe for 3 years.  He introduced me to proper breathing sequences, functional movement, and strength training.  We began with proper form and body weight exercises.  Today I am stronger than I have ever been.  I love swinging and lifting kettle bells, Turkish get ups, bottoms up exercises, and quite simply, challenging myself. Joe plans the right balance of exercises to challenge me in my workouts. He helps me achieve my strength and fitness goals, while watching for proper form and good movement so I reach these goals without injury. Not only is my fitness journey back on track with Joe, but also exercise has become part of my daily routine.  I look forward to my workouts every day.  Thank you, Joe, for inspiring me, teaching me, and motivating me to set and reach my goals in my workouts.  Best of all, this inspiration spills over into all aspects of my life.

I have been working with Align Fitness for the past 8 months and have loved every minute of it.  Through my training, my body has gotten much stronger, and I have gained more confidence in my overall abilities.  I can even do exercises now that I never thought I would be able to. Push ups, kettlebells, squats or lunges, Joe is there to guide my workouts and keep me from causing harm to my joints and back.  My plan for every aspect of my life is to be the best I can be, what Align FItness brings is the overall physical conditioning and strength I need to live a fast paced, active and healthy life.

Since I started training with Align I’ve gained flexibility, strength, power and added over 20 yards on drives, 10-15 on my irons. I recently received a full scholarship to the University of Kansas!
