Swing kettlebells? That’s cool. BUT… are you doing them correctly? We’ve seen more bad than good swings over the years. Those bad swings were the inspiration for this post on the 2-handed kettlebell swing. In this post we will teach you set up, breathing, bracing, sequence,  and how to maximize explosiveness, In the first video we address set up and breathing.

If you’re going to swing kettlebells you should maximize the benefits… right? Well.. If that’s something you’re into… watch and learn my friends. In the next video we will help you clean up and literally tighten up your position at the top of your swings. There is a yin and a yang to the kettlebell swing. Loose and fast – tight and stable. We explain.

Ugggghhhhhh ????????‍♂️????????‍♂️ We hope you don’t do this one thing in your swing❗️We often refer to it as the fatal flaw as it increases the change of hurting your lower back. Watch the next video to learn what we’re talking about. FYI: Improving this one this will also significantly improve your efficiency!

Now that you know how to set up, brace, breathing, and improve your sequence in the kettlebell swing… it’s time for the last piece of the puzzle.  This next video is all about speed and power.

We strongly recommend hiring a knowledgable coach to start or improve your kettlebell swing… you know like Align Fitness. However, if you can’t… you should at least start to video your swing so you can see what you’re doing. There’s often a big difference between what we think we’re doing and what we actually are. This is DEFINITELY the case with the kettlebell swing. For more information about us visit our general website www.align-fitness.com
